It’s OPI EURSO EURO (12324ANV) topped up with ORLY Crazy Diamond (40483)…

London is getting cold again… *sigh*  I’ve been making hot, fresh homemade bread recently to dip in soup.  It’s been lovely!  Recipe coming up soon 🙂

OPI: PINK – Suzi’s hungry again!

Image

Am loving the shade of pink on my nails right now!  I got to admit when I first read the color, the foodie in me was like huh?  Sushi?  Hungry again?  That just about shows that I am hungry again!  What a weird name for a pink color… Suzi’s hungry again!  Yet, its a name I won’t quite forget!!!

Loving my nails! xx

B’s Purple Sparkle OPI Nails!

ImageSimply love this shade of purple!  I added a bit of sparkle to the ring fingers for that extra glamour.  OPI has the widest range of shades that appeal to me!

I’m currently using OPI: Purple With a Purpose (NLB30) and the ring fingers are done in a beautiful sparkly turquoise-purple OPI: Polka.com NLE71.  Got my acrylics infills done, I’m ready for the next month.

B’s latest buys – Haute Couture.

In the weekend I went shopping to Bicester Village Outlets to buy birthday gifts for me from the husband! 🙂  Guilt free brand shopping is a therapy. To get your hands on little haute couture goodies is a blissful feeling.

In Dublin,  my Dior sunnies were stolen.  It was really tragic at that point.  In all honestly, I still feel sad about it even while typing this!  Funny how attached we get to materialistic things… What can I say?  I am guilty as charged.

I went searching for a replacement as I had gone to Westfield to see current models but they don’t compliment my face shape as much.  Bicester Village has older models that suit me more.

Roberto Cavalli:

ImageThis was rather chic and the color was vibrant.  it just suited me!  I had to get it.  🙂

My next gift was a Burberry.  Since I have a Burberry jacket and a Burberry bag it was time to get a different merchandise.  I was thinking wellies!  Boots!

The sun aint going to shine forever in London no matter how optimistic we might be!

I’m looking forward to winter again, just so I can wear these 🙂

OPI: Turquoise Bright Nails

The sun is blazing in the midst of London’s summer.  Yes summer.  It’s been so hot the last few days that I feel I’m living in the tropics.  Funny how I complain about the weather either way.  Haha!

The bright weather made me get bright nails done today!

It’s the OPI Turquoise Shatter.  I’m not into shatter-look nails anymore, but since I have the color, I thought why not! 😉

Simply love the brightness of it.

Here’s another shot:

Trying to add spark to my mundane monday which consists of just way too much laundry (entire weekend), chores and grocery shopping to stock the fridge for the upcoming week.

Bright Summery Nails!

Sunshine, a word that seems to now exist in London.  I’m loving the weather.  It’s surprising how the weather can affect a person’s mood and even the colours they choose to wear on a daily basis.  When I moved to London my first impression of British was that they wore rather “dull clothes” which seemed to reflect the “grey” weather of the country. On the contrary, the Aussies are bright reflecting the sunshine of the country.  Does this also affect people’s moods?I guess the weather does play a role, but the extent of which it affects behaviour and mood is questionable.  I guess an easy scapegoat for people being in a foul mood would be “blame it on the weather”.

I LOVE COLOR.  The last few days I’ve been enjoying bright colours to reflect the beautiful bright weather.

Today I made a trip to the nail salon (poor husband hehe) and got a nice bright summery print done!

I love it!

Nailin’ it with ART.

I love fashion, almost as much as I love food. 🙂  The finishing touch for me is definitely pretty nails.  When I notice a well groomed lady, head to toe in high fashion labels – the finishing touch must be the nails.  That pretty much seals the deal.  I usually get acrylics done to maintain that look.  Luckily, its pretty cheap to do nails in the suburbs of London.  I go to Javi Nails – the women there is excellent.  It’s good value for money.  A full set costs just 15 pounds.  Nail art is an additional depending on the intricacy of the design.  The city of London is about 2-3 times the price depending on location.  (Just FYI, if you ever go to Thailand, do your nails even if you don’t really want to.  It’s just that cheap that not doing it, is almost a sin)

Just got this done today.  I absolutely love animal prints.  Thankfully, its still in fashion.  It’ll always be in fashion in my bubble! I can’t believe I went a month without acrylics – to let my nails breathe.  Although saying that, every time I looked at my nails chipping due to natural nails just being so naturally annoying – I cringed.

I have this undying love for immaculate nails.
